Don't Delay, It's Getting Late

Hola!

Yesterday was the best and craziest Sunday ever! We had 9 investigators at church, including 2 families and a part member family. It was so amazing to sit next to a full family (with the mom and dad) during Sacrament meeting that we had tracted into and are so excited to learn more. And it was really a tender mercy because the branch president asked me to give my testimony so i did about eternal families, kinda directing it at our investigators. And of course Emmanuel was there too, he's getting baptized on the 22nd. Emmanuel is so awesome and pretty much a member because we asked him to go pick up an investigador and he did! he's also gone out with the elders in our ward.

So the reason why we had such a big turn out at church yesterday was because we had a movie night on Saturday, we watched an outside movie, The Testaments. Everyone who came to the movie came to church too! It was a really powerrful night because we were able to testify of the truthfulness of the gospel and handed out Book of Mormons to everyone who came. The Spirit was really strong. It was a really successful night and weekend.

That night we also got a call from the assistants......and im getting transferred!!! ive only been here in the Garland branch one transfer and I've really grown to love it. I'm going to serve in Casalinda, East Dallas with Hermana Matalunga (sp??) from Tonga. I'm so excited because she was my best friend Lisa Olander's companion in the MTC!

I'm so glad that the Lord trusts me to do His work. He really has great confidence in us and knows of the divine potential that we each have. The gospel of Jesus Christ is simple and always inviting us to change, be a little better. I love the words of Elder Holland, "Dont delay, it's getting late" because we should not wait to change. wickedness never was happiness.

love ya,

hermana brown
